OUR HISTORY

 

Souls Harbor was formed in 1975 under Pastor Dick Evans, and was located at the corner of 13th and Jackson Streets.  As an independent Pentecostal church, it came into the Assemblies of God in 1981. The church moved to its present location at 3810 CR 40-A in 1984. Pastor Elias Zarro followed from 1987 until 1996. Pastor David Snodderly, was pastor from 1996-2018. During that time, three separate additions were added, the third in 2015, being a Family Life Center needed to accommodate the growth of people and activities. It includes a gym, our second large kitchen, library, youth office, storage rooms, visiting foyer, and restrooms. Also, during this time, additional acreage has been purchased to the east, to be developed later, and 5 ½ partially wooded acres to the south west, which is being presently developed , and is primarily used by the Royal Rangers as a camping and activities area. To God be the glory, great things He has done! Our current pastor is Pastor Mark Snodderly, he joined us in June of 2018.
